Re: 30 Year Celebration

Friends, Colleagues, Partners and Team Members,
In 1985 a group of small hospitals in Maine started an organization that combined the strengths of a network of hospitals and the synergy of talent – Synernet, Inc. Over the years Synernet has evolved into a community of clients we call partners and a professional staff of 250 employees in 31 states. In 2015 we are proud to announce the celebration of Synernet’s 30th Anniversary and take a moment to reflect on our achievements.

It all starts with a vision that “together” we can achieve more with less. Each year our team members interact with thousands of healthcare and non-healthcare professionals across the U.S. From millions of audio files of dictation, maintaining state-of-the-art medical equipment to verifying medical professional’s credentials, success is derived from the outstanding professionals we hire: credentialed coders, licensed claims adjustors, credentialing specialists, biomedical and sterilizer engineers, enrollment specialists and medical transcriptionists.

Our people are our business!

The result are sustained by customer satisfaction. In 2014, 85% of surveyed customers noted their overall satisfaction was very satisfied. As we look forward in 2015, we see opportunities where others see challenges. We will continue to innovate with our partners to accomplish more with less and leverage technology and security to improve efficiencies.

Synernet Celebrates 30th Year

Synernet is proud to announce the 30th Anniversary of the organization. In 1985, Synernet was organized by a group of Maine hospitals with a focus on a shared savings model through group purchasing. Over the years Synernet has grown to an organization with over 250 employees who are 100% U.S. based while residing in 31 states.

Synernet now serves over 200 clients across the U.S.

In 2015 Synernet’s focus is within six service lines - Coding Services, Clinical Engineering, Credentials Verifications Organization (CVO), Insurance Services, Medical transcription and Provider Enrollment (PES). A strategic move to become a member of MaineHealth in 2001 and a move out of group purchasing in 2005 allowed Synernet to focus on support services in healthcare and non-healthcare organizations alike.

Tom Caswell, Director of Sales & Marketing, says growth with new healthcare services and a focus on partnering on projects has spurred Synernet’s growth and financial success. “Synernet’s focus on bringing the right technology, processes and most important experienced, trained expert staff to clients projects has returned a string of 13 consecutive years of revenue growth and strong financials. We have an organization that tirelessly focuses on bringing value to our customers through - customer service excellence, valued professional services and cost-savings through efficiencies,“ says Caswell. “Our results speak for themselves.”
